For us, the heritage of American design stands at the backbone of our philosophy. The initial concept behind The New Traditionalists was to make furniture that was based on a new nostalgia: a vaguely familiar feeling, with contemporary touches. Our pieces evoke a collective memory, without replicating it. In drawing inspiration from the past, we are influenced by classic silhouettes, exceptional clothing, vintage objects and history.
We attempt to harness the aura of intimacy that one feels with classic American furniture and reinterpret it.
